Privacy notice
What Lymel does with your email when you sign up — and how to make us forget.
Who we are
Lymel is a one-person audio label run by Jay (alias: Lymel / 라이멜). Contact: lymel.atelier@gmail.com. For GDPR purposes, Lymel is the data controller.
What we collect
When you sign up via a form on this site, we collect your email address only. We don't collect names, IP addresses, browsing history, or analytics. There are no tracking cookies on this site.
Why
Your email is used for one purpose: sending you the download link when a Lymel plug-in or instrument ships, plus occasional notes from the workshop (a few times a year — not weekly). Lawful basis: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the signup form.
Where it's stored
Email addresses are stored with a third-party email service used to send messages and a third-party storefront used to deliver downloads (e.g. Buttondown / Mailerlite for the mailing list, Gumroad or Lemon Squeezy for download fulfilment). All providers act as data processors on Lymel's behalf and are GDPR- compliant. The current providers will be listed here once finalised; until then this page is a draft and the form on the home page does not yet store data.
How long
Until you unsubscribe. Every email Lymel sends includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing erases your address from the active list within 7 days. Backups held by the email provider are rotated and erased within 30 days.
Sharing
Lymel does not sell your email or share it with anyone except the email service provider that delivers messages on Lymel's behalf (a data processor). We do not run advertising and do not pass addresses to advertisers.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you (your email).
- Correct it if it's wrong.
- Have it erased (unsubscribe, or email us directly).
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email lymel.atelier@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy". We respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version appears here with an updated date. Material changes (a new email service, a new purpose) will also be announced via the mailing list before they take effect.
