What it does
RoomLite adds front-to-back depth and a sense of space to dry tracks without smearing the source. It's tuned for the kind of mix where you want a vocal, a drum, or a guitar to sit somewhere — not to swim. The space is felt more than heard.
The signal stays articulate. Transients keep their edge, consonants stay legible, and the reverb never washes the front of the mix. Push it harder and you get more space, not more mud.
It's built for real sessions, not for showing off. Drop it on a vocal bus, a snare, a piano, an acoustic guitar — anywhere a track sounds too dry but doesn't have room for a long tail. RoomLite gives you the room without the tail.

Size
How big the space sounds — a small booth, a tracking room, a chamber, a hall. Sets the character before anything else.

Amount
How much of the space you hear. Lower for a hint of room, higher for an obvious wash. Works as a wet/dry without a separate mix knob.

Density
How busy the texture is. Sparse for an intimate, deliberate space; dense for a lush, expensive one.

Tone
A pass band for the space — one control, two thumbs. The left rolls off lows (20 Hz–500 Hz) to keep the bottom clean; the right tames highs (200 Hz–16 kHz) for a closer, warmer room. The arc between them is what you hear.

Output Gain
Final trim. The cyan tick on the knob marks 0 dB / unity, so you can set it back to neutral by eye.
Five presets
- Air — a breath of room around a dry source. Almost subliminal.
- Booth — a tight tracking room. Good for vocals and acoustic guitar.
- Snap — short and percussive. Drums, plucks, anything with attack.
- Hall — open and slow. For pads, strings, and the wide moments.
- Plate — bright and metallic. Vintage-flavoured, quick to settle.
